Questions & answers

SAM is the employer's duty to investigate, assess risk, act and follow up on the work environment as a natural part of the business. The requirements are set out in the Swedish regulation AFS 2023:1.

Since 1 January 2025, OSA has been governed by AFS 2023:2, which replaced AFS 2015:4. It covers workload, the scheduling of working hours and victimisation at work — the parts of the work environment shaped by how work is organised and how people interact.

Managers with work environment responsibility, HR and safety representatives. The employer is obliged to ensure that anyone given work environment duties also has enough knowledge to carry them out.

The training runs as a half day or a full day, online or on site. The scope is adapted to your sector, the size of the organisation and your current position.

Yes. Helo Hälsa is an approved provider with Afa Försäkring, which means private-sector employers with a collective agreement can apply for financial support for work environment training — up to 80 per cent as a direct grant. The application must be made no later than four months before or after the course, and the scheme runs until 30 June 2027. We help with the paperwork.
