Training companies and leaders in health, to get the most out of performance
Helena
Speaker | Health coach | Former national-team runner
Helena is the health coach, speaker and former marketing director with a background as a national-team runner — a combination that helps business perform sustainably and feel well along the way.
Helena is the health coach who retrained from marketing director when her husband became seriously ill. Alongside his illness she began to question her own lifestyle as a high performer in business, where sleep and rest were often the first things to go.
Helena became deeply interested in how the body and the brain work and in what it takes to get the most out of their capacity. When she then compared it with her background as a national-team runner, it became clear to her that essentially the same keys are needed for success on the track as in business.
Today Helena mainly coaches management teams to help them perform at the top of their ability. In her lectures you get concrete advice on how to put in place the keys that give healthier employees who have more in reserve, perform better and so improve the company's profitability.
When you work with Helena you get a coach and speaker who is extremely committed and genuinely interested in helping you get the most out of your performance and your health. She lectures and coaches in a way that genuinely makes you want to change your lifestyle — and you will have fun along the way.

What do elite sport and business have in common? More than you might think. Those who perform at the top — whatever the arena — share the same fundamental keys: the right recovery, a brain that works at its best, and habits that last.
Helena Hafström Hedberg knows this from both sides — as a former national-team runner and as a former marketing director in high-performing organisations. In this lecture she shares her own method for how body and brain work best, and what that means concretely for you as an employee or a leader in everyday life.
What you take away
The four keys that get the most out of the brain's capacity
How sleep, diet, rest and exercise affect your performance at work
Why recovery is not the opposite of performance — it is the precondition for it
Concrete, simple changes you can start with straight away
Suitable for: Management teams, managers and employees who want to perform sustainably — without it costing too much.
You cannot lead others sustainably if you do not lead yourself. In this workshop, Helena's lecture is turned into concrete action — with a clear focus on you as a manager and on what your health actually means for the whole group's performance.
Starting from the four keys — sleep, diet, rest and exercise — you map your own health balance and see where you are leaking energy, and where your greatest potential for change lies. Helena guides the group through exercises drawn from elite sport and the coaching world, focusing on how you as a leader build habits that last — even when the calendar is full.
What you take away
A personal picture of where your health balance stands as a leader
An understanding of how your health affects your leadership and your group
One concrete, realistic goal to start with straight away
Tools for keeping motivation up — and modelling sustainable behaviour for your team
Suitable for: Managers and management teams who want to invest in themselves — and lead health by living it.
Why do you lecture on sustainable performance for leaders?
When my husband became seriously ill, I was forced to stop and question my own lifestyle as a high performer in business — where sleep and rest were always the first things to go. It changed everything. I became deeply interested in how the body and the brain actually work, and in what it takes for us to keep going and perform over time, without it costing our health. That is what I am passionate about passing on.

What is the message in your lectures for companies?
The same keys that get an elite athlete performing at the top — sleep, diet, rest and exercise — apply in business too. It is not rocket science, but it does take awareness and the right habits. My message is that healthier employees do not just feel better — they have more in reserve, they perform better, and they improve the company's profitability.

What is your background and training as a speaker?
I combine two worlds in a way few others do — as a former national-team runner I know what it takes to deliver results under pressure, and as a former marketing director in high-performing organisations I understand the business case. Today I am a certified health coach and I lecture to management teams, managers and employees on getting the most out of their capacity — with concrete tools, high energy and always with a smile along the way.
