How do we perform in a working life marked by high tempo, constant change and rising demands, without losing our engagement, our security or ourselves along the way?
In this lecture Marius explores how sustainable performance grows out of the interplay between the individual, the culture and work environment. With roots in positive psychology and coaching, he makes visible how today's ways of working affect our wellbeing, our motivation and our ability to collaborate over time.
We go into why psychological safety is a decisive foundation for both performance and development, and how self-leadership and clarity can contribute to a culture where people dare to take responsibility, set boundaries and be themselves even under pressure.
What you take away
What happens to us when the pace is high and the boundaries unclear — mentally, emotionally and in terms of motivation
How a performance culture and psychological safety are connected, and how they affect both results and work environment
Self-leadership in a boundaryless working day, and how we can take responsibility without steamrolling ourselves
What actually creates motivation, focus and energy over the long term
Suitable for: Knowledge-intensive organisations in consultancy, tech, finance and marketing, for example; organisations going through change; HR, leadership and talent programmes; and organisations that want to attract and keep young professionals.
In this lecture we explore together how performance and wellbeing are connected, and how we can find a better balance, as a team and as individuals. Through tools from coaching and positive psychology we build a better shared understanding of where our wellbeing stands right now and what the way forward looks like.
We work from the inside out, looking at inner values as our compass, at what the body needs to have the reserves to perform, and at how we can implement small changes one at a time. After this lecture you and your team will have a clearer picture of what wellbeing and performance mean to you, how you can hold on to wellbeing even in periods that demand performance, and how you can put strategies for healthy, lasting change in place in your own organisation.
The format is interactive and built on reflection. Participants are invited to pause, reflect and explore their own relationship with tempo, demands and performance. The focus is not on doing more, but on creating the conditions to perform in a way that lasts.

What actually creates motivation, focus and energy over the long term
As a speaker I am passionate about helping people find their way back to themselves and dare to go their own way. I do that by combining my own experience of studying at a business school, with its pressure and intensity, with evidence-based research and theory on motivation and mindset.
