About Cissi

I am an ADHD and lifestyle coach, a certified coach and a speaker — and above all someone who has lived with ADHD since childhood. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 13 and know how it feels to struggle to fit into systems that are not always built for you. My mother taught me something early on that has stayed with me: structure matters, but so does believing in yourself. That experience is an important reason why I became an ADHD coach.

Since 2019 I have helped adults, families and organisations understand ADHD better and find practical ways of working with their brains — instead of constantly fighting against them.

My own path has been varied, to say the least. I have worked in tourism around the world, on sailing ships, in destination management and even underground in a mine. When I moved to New Zealand in 2019, I organised a lecture tour around the country to build knowledge about ADHD.

Today I live in France, coach online and run a Facebook group about ADHD with around 19,000 followers.

I bring my own experience, my coaching training and my curiosity about people into every conversation — with the aim of helping others build a life that feels more manageable, more meaningful and, above all, their own.

Coaching

I work practically, compassionately and personally. I am not here to change you or to give you another list of things you "ought" to do. We look at what is in the way, what you need, and what could actually work in your real life.

We can work on things like overload, routines, time management, motivation, emotional regulation, procrastination, structure, energy management, recovery after burnout, relationships and the balance between work and life.

One example is the self-employed person who wants to be able to close the laptop in the afternoon, be more present with their family and feel more present as a father and partner. Then we can work on self-knowledge, tools for handling stress, and what actually matters. Much of the change begins with understanding your own values and what you want to make more room for in life.

I also coach parents so that they can support their children and understand their needs more easily. Many get in touch around the start of the school year, when the free days of summer have to turn back into everyday routines: how can we make that transition easier for the child — and for the whole family?

I work both preventively and on finding the way back after burnout, from a holistic perspective. Sometimes a different kind of support is needed alongside healthcare, where the focus is on everyday life, on recovery, and on finding the way back to a sustainable life step by step.

You do not need a diagnosis to benefit from coaching. Many people recognise themselves in what I describe without having been assessed. Nor is coaching therapy: we start from your situation now, your goals and practical strategies going forward. I do not diagnose and I do not treat mental illness.

Many people meet every week or every other week, and my 12-week programme is a good starting point. It gives time to understand what works, try new strategies and build changes that can last. The programme also includes support between our conversations, so that we can pick up what comes up in daily life — feelings, challenges, questions, or situations where you need to stop and sort things out. That way the coaching does not stay in our sessions, but follows you into real life.
