How can we use the body as a concrete tool for handling stress, preventing pain and creating more energy during the working day?
In this lecture participants gain an understanding of what happens in the body during sedentary work and high cognitive load — a tired nervous system and stiffness — and of how simple movement breaks can make a great difference to both long-term wellbeing and performance.
I combine evidence-based knowledge with practical elements where you try out simple movements and micro-pauses that can be used straight away in the working day — with no change of clothes, no equipment and no training background needed.
The purpose is to give participants an understanding of the connection between movement and performance — along with concrete tools for building working days that are more sustainable and more energised.

Helping people feel better in their working day through movement and knowledge is my calling. With many years in sedentary office roles and a background as a communications officer, I have experienced for myself how stress, tension and energy dips affect both the body and performance.
