The purpose of the course

A course to become an instructor in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults (from the age of 18). Through the course you certify as a CPR instructor under the Swedish Resuscitation Council's guidelines. It gives you in-depth knowledge of the Council's organisation and teaches you how to teach CPR effectively, with the right pedagogy.

How the course is structured

A half day or a full day depending on the number of participants. The course alternates the Council's guidelines and organisation with pedagogy and practical training in teaching CPR yourself. 10–12 participants per session.

We are happy to run the course on site with you, with group exercises and interactive discussion grounded in your own organisation. It works just as well online. All our courses can be combined and adapted to your wishes and needs.

The trainer

Henrik

CPR instructor | Fire inspector | Licensed nurse

Henrik has 25 years of experience from the municipal rescue services in Göteborg and Karlstad, both in emergency response and in regulatory work on fire prevention. He began his career in 1996 in Göteborg as a firefighter and ambulance carer, qualified as a rescue diver in 2000 and moved in 2006 to Karlstad, where work as a fire inspector and instructor was his main role. He is a trained incident commander and fire inspector, as well as an instructor and teacher in fire and rescue. Since 2022 Henrik has been a licensed nurse and has worked in paediatric care, on a children's ward and in a children's emergency department, and above all in ambulance care in Stockholm, Karlstad and Västra Götaland.
