Understanding stress is a first step — but how do we as leaders create a work environment where stress is prevented rather than produced? In this workshop the knowledge from the lecture is put into practice, with a clear managerial perspective. Starting from Anders Hedin's model, participants work actively on how leadership, culture and everyday decisions affect stress levels across the whole group, not just in the individual.
We explore how the manager as a person and as a role-holder shapes the work environment, which behaviours and structures build psychological safety, and how a leader can spot early signs of unhealthy stress in their team. The workshop is interactive and dialogue-based, with exercises tied to systematic work environment management and to the rules on the organisational and social work environment in the Swedish regulation AFS 2023:2.
Participants leave with concrete tools both for handling their own stress and for actively contributing to a more sustainable work environment for their team.
Suitable for: Managers and leaders who want to move from insight to action — a natural next step after the lecture.
