Helo Hälsa approved as a training provider by Afa Försäkring

Helo Hälsa is now an approved provider of work environment training, recognised by Afa Försäkring. This means that private-sector companies covered by a collective agreement can be reimbursed for part of the cost of Helo Hälsa’s training.

About the scheme

Afa Försäkring’s work environment training scheme is aimed at private companies and organisations that have a collective agreement and Trygghetsförsäkring vid arbetsskada (TFA, the collectively agreed occupational injury insurance). Under the agreement, these employers can apply for part funding of training costs with approved providers — now including Helo Hälsa.

The support is particularly directed at joint training initiatives where managers and safety representatives take part either separately or together, in order to strengthen collaboration and open up dialogue about the work environment in the workplace.

What is work environment training?

Work environment training gives managers and employees practical knowledge of systematic work environment management — what the law requires, how to identify and handle risks, and how to build a sustainable organisational and social work environment.

Participants learn to carry out risk assessments, draw up action plans and follow up measures in a structured way. The training also provides tools for preventing ill health, handling conflict and strengthening day-to-day leadership on work environment matters. Below are examples from different sectors.

Conditions

• Applies to private employers with a collective agreement and TFA insurance
• Covers training delivered between 1 January 2026 and 30 June 2027
• Applications for reimbursement must reach Afa by 30 June 2027 at the latest
